You have your list of potential publishers or agents, now what? The journey of how to get published book begins with the letter of request. The first step in both fiction and non-fiction is the letter of request. This is your chance to open the doors to the publishing industry of books, literary agents and book publishers. Due to the volume of requests the agents and publishers of receive, they have become the standard way to make a contact rather than sending the entire manuscript.
